Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Scholars will learn and celebrate the Lunar New Year by designing beautiful traditional window paper cuttings from craft punchers, foam paper, and self-adhesive paper. Through this project-based learning, scholars will develop cultural competence and empathy. At the same time, scholars are fostering their number sense and strengthening their math fluency.

With your support, scholars have an opportunity to study a diverse culture and utilize their strengths in creativity and art to sharpen their mathematic skills.

Scholars will realize that math can be a fun, easy, and valuable life skill! Thank you in advance for your support!
