Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our 2nd grade classroom, I strive to create an inclusive environment where every student feels seen, heard, and valued. To achieve this, I am seeking support to provide books, activities, and resources that celebrate diversity, teach empathy, and promote racial justice.

With your help, I will curate a library of diverse picture books that feature characters from various racial and cultural backgrounds, ensuring my students see themselves reflected in the stories they read.

Additionally, I will use these materials to lead meaningful conversations about kindness, fairness, and standing up against injustice. Your donation will empower my students to embrace their unique identities while fostering a greater understanding and respect for others. Together, we can inspire a future generation that values equality and celebrates the beauty of diversity.
