Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The goal of this exciting project is for students to master research skills, explore the college library, find credible sources, cite them like pros, and share their discoveries through a research paper and project board. Each Spring, our Junior class brings all this hard work to life with a fun and vibrant Campus-Wide Cultural Fair, inviting families, teachers, and students to join in the celebration! The idea is to make research come alive by exploring the local community college library and then showcasing what they've learned. Students go all out—recreating famous landmarks, artwork, food, fashion, music, dances, games, and so much more from the culture they’ve studied. It’s a lively, hands-on way to experience the world!
