Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager to learn about different cultures and traditions and love hands-on experiences that make learning come alive. The Chinese New Year items I’m requesting will allow them to engage with this celebration's rich history and traditions through crafts, storytelling, and interactive activities. These materials will bring the holiday to life in the classroom, helping students connect with cultural diversity meaningfully.

The goal of this project is to provide students with an immersive experience that fosters cultural awareness, creativity, and respect for different traditions.

By learning about the Chinese New Year, students will better understand global cultures while practicing skills like art, reading, and critical thinking. These activities will also allow cross-curricular connections between history, geography, and the arts.

What makes my students special is their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about the world around them. They are always excited to explore new cultures and expand their horizons, and your support will help make that exploration possible.
