This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Title I School is starting a chapter of The National Junior Art Honor Society in January. New members having t-shirts with the logo printed on them would be very meaningful for them to have and wear around the school. These are advanced 8th grade art students who despite everything have chosen to pursue their love of art and join a club that promotes the arts.

Having t shirts to wear will validate their accomplishments to their peers in having been chosen to be in this art club (both girls and boys).
