My Project
Holidays are so important in the first grade classroom. It is the last year that most students get to have fun and be kids without having to become totally independent. I have added many items needed to celebrate the last few holidays within this school year.
Allowing young children the opportunity to be creative and have fun with peers is crucial in social emotional growth and outlook on school in general.
The Dalmatian items will be used to celebrate the 101 Days of School in our classroom. The picture frames, shrinky dink paper, and key chain hooks would be used to celebrate Mother's Day. The black combs will be used to put together Mother's Day cookbooks. The Modge Podge will be used to seal Mother's Day flower pots after being decorated by my first graders. The white magnetic hooks will be used to hang items from the ceiling in our classroom. The paper towels will be used to clean multiple messes and fun activities.
