My Project
I am a first grade teacher at a very rural school. Art and hands on activities are the best ways to help students express their creativity. I would like to supply my students with two activities that would celebrate holidays within our classroom. My first graders will take these projects home to share with their loved ones.
First graders need more creativity celebrated within the classroom through hands on activities to be proud of.
I am asking that each student be supplied with a clay pot in which he or she will decorate and later take home to share with their parents on Mother's Day. We will also study the life cycle of a plant while we watch it grow in our pots.
The picture frames will be used to house their Bunny Tattoo art projects when completed in the classroom. The art will be framed and taken home to decorate for Easter.
