My Project

I want my students to feel special from the moment they enter my classroom. By providing them with some "Welcome to 1st Grade" goodies and having special activities the first week of school to help promote connection and a class community makes a big difference.

Another way to help the students feel special is by celebrating each of them when they are our weekly "Star of the Week." They will receive a special pencil and sticker when it is their turn to be the weekly star.

We will be able to celebrate the 100th day of school and the last day of school.

Other items will help us celebrate holidays from around the world and ones we celebrate in the United States such as Halloween, Valentine's Day, and Cinco de Mayo. The take-home pouches will help ensure that our art projects and other special items get home safely.
