My Project

The Lunar New Year is a time of celebration, reflection, and joy. It is a perfect opportunity for students to learn about and appreciate the rich cultural traditions observed by millions around the world. This project will bring the festive spirit of the Lunar New Year to life in our classroom, helping students connect with global cultures in a hands-on, engaging way.

Our classroom will be transformed into a vibrant celebration zone with candy, fortune cookies and Lunar New Year chocolate coins to share.

We'll decorate with colorful items like dragon ceiling decorations, paper lanterns, and tassels, setting the stage for a memorable learning experience. Students will also learn about traditional practices, such as the symbolism of Feng Shui Coins and red envelopes, while engaging in fun activities like creating 3D DIY Chinese paper dragons.

These materials will not only make the celebration visually stunning but also allow students to actively participate in cultural traditions through crafts, games, and storytelling. By introducing these elements into our classroom, students will gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Lunar New Year and the values of health, wealth, and happiness it represents.
