My Project

The students in my classes are active, hard working, eager, and love to get their hands in the dirt. My belief is that many children of this generation are not outdoors enough. In addition, many do not understand the importance of healthy food. With our gardens, both of these issues are addressed.

The cedar garden is not just a garden, it's a place for students and staff to gather around a big old tree.

However, our beloved garden, The Cedar, was abandoned during the pandemic. The automatic watering system continued and the plants flourished—so much so that the garden is now amuck with overgrown plants. And the weeds! Oh, the weeds...

Please help the Dirt Club get our cedar garden back on track.
