My Project

Part of the second grade science curriculum includes animal life cycles. My students will have the opportunity to watch this actually happen when they receive some caterpillars. During this time, they will learn all about the butterfly life cycle, their metamorphosis, and migration. In order to enhance their learning, each student is in need of a copy of the book National Geographic Readers: Caterpillar to Butterfly.

This book will enable my students to be engaged in the lesson as they learn all about butterflies.

My students will also use this book to help record and illustrate everything they learn about butterflies, their metamorphosis and migration. Thank you for supporting education!
