Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My students are extremely lovable and excited about being in school. They spend their school days learning to read, write and count, but they also learn how to love, respect, and share. We work together on phonics, reading, writing, math, science, and social studies daily.
The children come from mostly low-income families, who may not have access to the materials on the list.
These items will assist in my classroom especially during small group instruction. The students will utilize the materials while having fun at the same time. I know these items would really bring excitement and motivation to their learning. To reward their efforts I wish to fill our class treasure box with stickers and small incentives!
“Every child deserves a champion, an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.” I would like to be that person for them!
My Project
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. The students will enjoy learning to categorize items, as well as boost their creativity with colored pencils and Dot Paint! My students will be so excited to use these items during class time with their partner or in small group settings. The ultimate goal is for them to have fun working on these skills!
