Help Ms. Thompson

I am the Physical Education teacher at a small school in the midlands of South Carolina. Our school has 415 students and includes grades 2-5. I teach every single one of these students every week.

I am interested in laying a solid foundation of the fundamentals of movement for these students. One of the most basic concepts is that of throwing and catching. The equipment we have is used by 400 children a week. It is a challenge to find equipment both durable and safe for my young students.

The 7 balls I am requesting in this proposal are perfect for the job. These bright colored balls are perfect for developing visual tracking skills for the younger students. Also, the soft material is perfect for beginners. The soft material will help students not to be intimidated or fear of getting hurt or dropping the ball. They will be able to get a good grip due to the foam material. The size of these balls is just right for smaller hands. This equipment will help me teach my students throwing and catching skills while ensuring their safety along the way.

My mottoes are "safety first" and "just have fun." Thank you in advance for making both of those thoughts a reality by providing this safe equipment. Thanks to you there will be 415 successful students in South Carolina. Thank you for making a difference for every student in our school.
