Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to read and they always ask to sit with their friends. Having these seat cushions will allow them to share a good book with their friends. The seat cushions will provide flexible seating options for my students to go if they need to calm down or have some personal space. Our students can rebuild the seating area based on their needs for the moment or the day.

My goal is to create a comfortable casual seating area for students to relax, read, or enjoy quite play.

Soft seating and cozy corners are vital in providing a comfortable learning environment for the students. The cushy seating will allow for them to control the amount of stimulation they would like to receive. For example, I would have students sit in these cushion when we learn about coins and their values. Students will be able to sit in pairs to review the coins' names and values.

By donating to our project, you will help to improve and increase student attention and focus.
