My Students

Worrying about food, money, transportation, and clothing are adult worries, yet many of the students at my school face these "grown-up" problems each day. In spite of the challenges they face, my students constantly rise to the occasion and frequently blow me away with their ability to learn.

My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Some have and some do not. It is my job to level their playing field so that all have a chance to be successful. Through hands-on, exciting and active assessment, all students in my second grade, inner-city classroom prove themselves time and time again.

My Project

Three years ago, generous donors such as Lily, Sarah, Grace Fund, Laura Candler, and OO.com provided my classroom with iPads. It was amazing to receive these devices, along with some awesome accessories. Cases were included in the projects that originally delivered the iPads to us, but after 3 years of wear, tear, and kiddie hands, we are now in need of new cases. In the last 3 years, many cases have come out that are perfect for little people. The 12 cases that I am requesting will be perfect for my students. Hopefully this project will be funded quickly because our other cases are starting to tear. Partner with me in preserving the wonderful iPads we have, and guaranteeing future use.

My kids are the best!

They deserve the best in every aspect of life, especially in their education. Help me to help them achieve their best by partnering with me to get them these needed items for our classroom.
