My Project

At our school, our students come from a diverse, vibrant community in Queens. As outlined in our school vision, we are committed to providing our students with a 21st-century education, and one of the key tools in achieving this is technology. Thanks to previous funding, our school has been provided 380 iPads to be used by students across grades K-5, allowing them to explore, create, and learn in new, dynamic ways. With these devices, our students have access to educational apps, interactive lessons, and a wide array of resources to enhance their learning experience in addition to state testing utilizing devices.

However, with the daily hustle and bustle of a busy elementary school, these iPads are at risk of damage without proper protective cases.

As any teacher or parent knows, young students often need extra protection for their tools. Our goal is to secure durable, high-quality cases with integrated keyboards for each of the iPads we have received to ensure they stay safe and functional for years to come. Without protective cases, these devices are vulnerable to drops, spills, scratches, and general wear and tear. The cost of repairing or replacing iPads is prohibitively high for a small school like ours, and we want to make sure our students can continue using their devices without interruption.

Your generous donation will directly impact the learning experience of all of our students. With your help, we will ensure that every child at our school has access to a fully functional, protected iPad for their educational journey. The cases will not only protect the devices but also contribute to creating a positive, focused, and future-ready learning environment. Thank you for considering our project.
