Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As students have returned back into the physical classroom, we will be moving our chairs from place to place. Our performance place is different than our rehearsal place and far from each other. We usually move our own chairs with instruments on one hand, music in the other, and a buddy carries the chairs. With one more cart to carry the loading of the chairs, our students can focus on the safe transportation of their instruments and music. My students have less chance of getting hurt trying to carry more than two chairs at a time as well. We are also in need of stands to hold our percussion equipment while playing.

The new equipment will help my students make music in the class and at performances.
