Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The goal of this project is to provide a "Caring Cart" where students can take deodorant, beanies/gloves, and any other hygiene item they may not have available to them at home. They will be available in a cart and students can take them as they need. Since our population of students is going through physical changes, their hygienic needs often change throughout the year Our caring cart will allow them to have access to these items without having to worry about the financial burden. The cart will be placed in a semi-public space where students do not have to ask permission to take items and maintain confidentiality.
