Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I plan to use these materials to facilitate my 8th grade students' learning by completing several different projects. The classroom projects will be based on what career/job the students are learning about at the time. They will have the opportunity to work in groups and alone. By doing this, at times they will be responsible for their own work and at other times, students will be responsible for working as a team.

By providing hands-on activities, students are more engaged and excited to continue learning.

The motivation posters will assist me with teaching and being able to motivate the students. Being able to help students with materials will surely make them feel more confident as everything will be provided in the classroom.

With the index cards and glue, students will be able to build their own bridge when learning about the engineering career. With the colored pencils students will be able to learn a little about being an artist. The folders requested will help students keep theitlr work together and when having a difficult day, the stress balls might help them with their emotions.
