My Students

My students, I and my co-teacher embarked on a journey starting September. All the students had worked so hard. The community was strong. The relationships were built. They had come so far. Reading, Writing, Adding, Rhyming, Spelling. We are so proud of them.

Once the pandemic hit things started sliding.

Students didn't have the materials they needed to successfully undergo their new journey at home.

My students are eager to learn but come from a low income area. WIth the stay at home in order they can not venture out in their small community. My co-teacher and I want them to be able to continue their learning journey to instill their love for school.

My Project

It breaks my heart during remote learning when we are at a live meeting and a child tells me they do not have a piece of paper and pencil to participate in the how to draw project we are having.

Just a simple box of crayons will put a smile on so many kids faces.

The Primary notebooks with lines and a space to draw are similar to the paper we used in the classrrom to continue where they left off.

Not only will we feel great but it will make the parents feel at ease to know that their children have what they need to succeed.
