This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For this proposal, I am requesting a variety of self-care items such as bandaids, hand cream, and period supples. As an art teacher, I work hard to create trusting relationships through generosity, artistic guidance, and overall care for my students. Because of this, they often come to me in times of need - some big crisis, and some minor that need a gently hand to make kiddos feel better and ready to continue with the day. These items are often requested by my students, and it would be extremely helpful to be able to provide them with the supplies they need.
