Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal is to create a care closet corner to provide items for my 5th grade kiddos and any other students that may not have the opportunity to have these available to them. I have been supplying my care corner throughout the years and it is getting very expensive. The care corner provides things such as feminine products, breakfast foods, lunch snacks, hygiene items and many more things including school supplies that I have already received for the upcoming school year. Students are not successful if their needs are not being met and I try to make sure all of their needs are met to the best of my abilities. My goal is to reach more students by having my care corner fully stocked and items they may need readily available to all throughout the year. My care corner has reached many students, for many years and I would love to be able to continue doing so for years to come.
