My Project

In today's fast-paced and challenging educational environment, the mental well-being of students is more crucial than ever. As we strive to create a supportive and nurturing atmosphere, we recognize the need for accessible mental health resources that can empower students to thrive academically and personally.

As counselors, we seek funding to acquire essential mental health supplies, including wellness kits, stress relief tools, and educational materials, to support our students in managing stress, anxiety, and emotional well-being.

My students and I are organizing a Care Closet for students in need. The Care Closet is available for any student/sibling/parent, for clothes, snacks, and personal hygiene products that might not be in their budget to purchase. By having this safe space, it gives students in need a chance to obtain basic needs that they might not have received other wise.

Research shows that mental health significantly impacts academic performance and overall student success. Many students face various pressures, from academic demands to social challenges. By providing them with the right tools and resources, we can foster resilience and promote healthier coping mechanisms.

By investing in these supplies, we aim to:

-Enhance students' emotional resilience.

-Reduce stigma around mental health issues.

-Provide immediate tools for coping with stress and anxiety.

-Foster a culture of support and understanding within the school community.
