My Project

When you think about students who strongly desire to be the best, think about my students. They inspire individuals from places that aren't always ideal in Youngstown, OH. Adversity is the foundation of the life they stand on, but they persevere.

Our students struggle with poverty, homelessness, employment, transportation, and language barriers, but despite all of this, they show up to school.

We are creating a Care Closet with our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders for students in need. I've been on the go and haven't eaten this morning or won't eat tonight - the care closet has snacks to hold you over.

Ms. Freisen Horizon Science Academy - Youngstwn Grades 6-8
