My Project

The purpose of The Care Closet is two-fold: provide students with free toiletry items such as brushes, toothbrushes, deodorant, sanitary napkins, hats, gloves, scarves, and food they can take home and offer students a sense of support and education as to the importance of personal care, hygiene, and cleanliness. This Care Closet will be an essential resource for students in need. By providing snacks and microwaveable food they can take home it will give students a sense of food security. I would like to start a care closet for my students who are less fortunate to have essential items they may not have at home. It will be located in an office easily accessible for any student in need for free. It will give students the ability to shop for items they need without any judgment. The donations to this project will help provide students not only with essential items but help to boost their self-esteem.
