My Project

The supplies that I am requesting for my students are things that can change everything for them. When you’re hungry, it can affect your educational growth. Having access to things like food, and bottled water can aid in building confidence in every individual and it can show a student that being in a classroom, means that they are safe and taken care of. We teach about social emotional understanding and part of that is making sure my students are able to express when they are hungry or thirsty. We teach them to acknowledge their basic human needs. This is especially true for children with disabilities.

The donations to this project would allow my students to reduce their food insecurities and give them access to water to travel with to and from school.

In return my students will be able to focus more on the educational growth and not on if they have enough water or food.
