Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my English Language Development class, I recognize students constantly to celebrate their academic achievements and birthdays. Every month, I select eight students to be the "Student of the Month." The Student of the Month is another way for students to be recognized for both academic achievement in class and displaying excellent behavior. Each month is a new category, some of which have included "Never gives up," "Most improved," "Kindest," "Biggest helper," and many others! In addition, students are also recognized on their birthdays in class.

For each of these special celebratory occasions, I take time to write individual hand written letters.

I would appreciate your support in providing these cards and stickers to seal the envelopes.
