A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
While I love teaching two-dimensional art to my students, I have always wanted my students to think outside of the box...literally! Teachers often throw away cardboard boxes but this year I want to utilize the cardboard in my 5th, 6th, and 7th grade classes to create three-dimensional sculptures. While I feel comfortable using traditional box cutters to break down cardboard, I worry about the safety of my students. Please consider donating to my classroom to provide canary cutters for classes to use.
Canary Cutters offer safety and the freedom to cut cardboard to create abstract sculptures, food trucks, large scale animal sculptures, and so much more!
Students will have endless opportunities to explore their creativity while recycling our school's waste to create beautiful works of art. Additionally, to help my students explore the challenging skill of perspective, the expo markers allows me to color code steps during guided instruction!
