My Students

My students are amazing. I know you probably hear this a lot, but seriously, they are phenomenal and they love to learn. We are a gifted and talented public school that serves students in grades K-12 in New York City.

Our students have an incredible thirst for knowledge, they are creative, innovative, and full of life, but this is only part of what makes them so phenomenal.

They work incredibly hard to not only be amazing students but also incredible humans.

My Project

These items will do amazing things for my science classes. By having the different Basher Science books my students will be able to engage in their science classes like they haven't before. In using these books they will have engaging cartoon guides to rocks and minerals, the periodic table of elements, and even astronomy and the world around them.

My students do not only need these engaging science texts but they also need some independent reading books.

It is my hope that while working with individual students I can also instill a love for reading in them. With books like Love and Gelato and Wonder we will have a variety of books for students to read.
