My Students

Teaching children to be kind is one of the greatest virtues one can instill on a child. Through our school project, we hope to instill this virtue and teach the students to care for one another throughout the school day. We are hoping that this attitude translates to being kind at home as well.

Our students live within inner-city NYC.

Our school is a choice-school, which means that the children go through an application and interview process in order to go to school here. The students here are hard-working and bright. The students have a rigorous curriculum and many of them participate in extra-curricular actitivies too.

My Project

These resources will change our students lives because it will work to teach them not just to be better students, but also to be better people. We are hoping to inspire our students to care for others and treat people with caring and respect throughout the school day. The students will be asked to use the cameras to catch students within the building being good. At our monthly awards assembly, we hope to create a slideshow of all of the pictures to share with the entire school.

This project is so important because it will provide our students will the technology they need in order to see their good actions on film.

We hope that seeing and recognizing students who are doing the right thing and caring for others will inspire their peers to do the same.
