My Students

My students range from kindergarten to sixth grade and each and every one of them come to art class enthusiastic and excited about the art they are about to create. My students love to give their ideas for topics for art lessons or mediums they would like to try.

When passing in the hall students are always so eager to find out what we will be doing next and love to stand and admire all their artwork that is on display.

My Project

These art supplies will enhance the art-rich classroom that I strive to create. My art class is a place that my students truly enjoy and are excited to come to. All of these art materials have been chosen with my students in mind-They have been fully immersed in art making and yearn to try new mediums and continue to create and display their work. Students will be able to choose various mediums, which will help them continue to enjoy art class.

With these new art supplies, my students will be able to choose from a variety of mediums that will allow them to experience multiple ways to capture their creativity in color.

They will also be able to choose mediums that they have not used before. Adding Prismacolor stix to their art toolboxes will really add to their options for creating works of art. Each box comes with a variety of colors and are sturdy. They are more difficult to break than your average crayon. They blend beautifully and show up vibrant on every type of paper including brightly colored construction paper. The possibilities are endless. They last for a long time too! The best way to increase creativity is to allow opportunities to try new things, and these materials will continue to help my students grow as artists. My students already have shown an incredible interest in art, and this project will only help enrich their experiences.
