This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 10th-grade students are navigating a pivotal year of growth and self-discovery. During our advisory time, known as CREW, we focus on building relationships, fostering a sense of belonging, and ensuring every student feels valued and supported.

A Selphy Instant Photo Printer will allow us to capture the moments that define our community—restorative circles, acts of kindness, teamwork, and personal milestones.

Many students don’t have access to printed photos at home, and this project will give them a tangible way to reflect on their growth and contributions.

Why This Matters

Physical photos create lasting memories, reinforcing students’ sense of identity and connection. Whether it’s documenting their progress, capturing moments of joy, or creating a collective advisory photo wall, this printer will serve as a meaningful tool for celebrating the bonds we build together.
