Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 7th graders are the best! I plan to work on building a sense of community in my classroom by starting "Toasty Tuesday". Every Tuesday I would like to have breakfast with my students and the most efficient way to do this is to make toast!

The opportunity you are providing will help us to build lasting memories and help to make sure we build a strong community bond in my classroom.

The toasters would allow us to toast enough bread so that we could all eat together simultaneously and the camera would allow us to capture the memories that we make as the year progresses.

I will use the corkboards to display the photos we take. Each year I plan to let the students take the pictures home at the end of the school year. The gift card will give me the chance to find some items to decorate my room and also add some fun activities that will help make learning even more enjoyable.

I have the most amazing students and would love to provide them with positive interactions and a place to belong. Thank you so much for considering my project!
