My Students

I teach 3rd grade at a small town Title I school. I have a variety of students in my class. They love to have fun while learning.

I constantly get asked, "What fun thing are we doing today, Mrs. Hinson?"

I love hearing them say they love school, and they think it is fun! In today's society, the children do not do well just sitting and listening to a lecture. They thrive with hands-on activities and group work. Whenever we do group activities, my students get really excited!

My Project

My students need a camera to capture all of their 3rd grade memories as well as take pictures of our projects and experiments. We do a lot of fun things in the room and need a way to document our learning and make a book of all of our classroom experiences. Having a camera will allow the students to show off all of the learning we are doing. This will also allow the students to share their creative ideas by taking pictures. Having a camera in the classroom will be an exciting new way to show their parents everything we are doing!
