Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our student group just ordered a new camera to support the work we do to share clubs, sports, and events happenings. For 2 years I have been using my personal cell phone to take photos to share with the school community. We will now have access to a high quality camera, storage cards, and easier photo transfers to a computer.

This telephoto lens will help to capture high quality sport shots from a distance.

Parents and kids have enjoyed seeing photos of students in actions.

We use photos to promote after-school activities and share the positive school culture. This has helped to encourage more students and parents to be involved which helps students learn and grow outside of the classroom.
