Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

By donating to this project you will provide the opportunity for students to have access to classroom materials as well as capture their engagement in the classroom community.

The materials I have chosen for my project will allow my students to express themselves through various supplies.

Having various art supplies such as crayons, markers, glue, glitter, and 3D craft supplies in the classroom allow students to have a choice which promotes independence and decision making skills. Phonics is the foundation to learning. The phonics work books will support students in letter/sound identity, blending, reading, and writing independently. Writing paper will be used for bringing our students’ ideas to life for stronger visualization. I have also included sensory fidget toys as they support students with frustration, anxiety, stress, and keeping our students active which may help bring their attention back to the classroom.
