Help Mrs. Walker

I am a kindergarten teacher in a rural public school. We are constantly making books and placing them in our classroom for the students to read. Limited resources often strain our need for books; therefore, we make our own. The children love for me to take pictures of them on school trips, during school activities, and other events throughout the day. I take these pictures and make books that the children are allowed to read during class and on special days, they take them home to their parents to share with their family. The students feel that they are the illustrators of these books since they are the ones making the pictures. As the year progresses, they become the authors as well. They will write their own stories from the pictures we place in the books. This is a wonderful experience that we love and hopefully we are molding the future authors and illustrators! I would love to have a digital camera and printer dock to help make our books creative and make our children proud. I have pondered over buying the Kodak camera/printer that goes together, however, my budget is limited due to other things that I must buy to make my class run smoothly...and keep the kids involved. I would be so grateful and my children would as well appreciate this kind and wonderful gift!
