Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year is my first year in an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) classroom. I do not have much in getting my classroom set up, so I'm hoping to at least get things for this extra special space for my students.

My goal is to create a wonderful, calming corner to help my students regulate their bodies and emotions while at school.

The corner will be a way for students to escape if they feel overwhelmed. Students will be able to go there to help themselves relax and regroup. Additionally, I put the chair bands on the list so that students can have some fidget room while still sitting in their chairs during learning time.
