My Students

We are a diverse community of K-12 learners at 12 sites across Brooklyn. Presently, our school serves over 563 students classified with a range of social, emotional and cognitive challenges including, but not limited to: autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and cognitive disabilities and emotional disturbances.

Each student comes to us with unique and often severe challenges that have negatively impacted their ability to succeed in a general education setting.

Just under 90% of our students are Title I eligible, meaning that they are living at or below the poverty line.

My Project

The computer that we are requesting in this project will allow us to run some of the latest software and design equipment that we have been acquiring for our technology lab. At the moment, our lab is growing but we are running into the challenge of needing greater computer power to meet the needs of our equipment.

The lab that we need this computer to power will include a 3D-print and design station, an audio and visual recording studio, a VR experience center, and a robotics station.

With your help, we can get one step closer to that goal by ensuring that we have the computational power to make our technology resource and design center a reality this year! My students and I thank you in advance for your support!
