This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This year, I would like to make their PreK graduation memorable with caps and gowns. This ceremony will be special and memorable for all my students, their families, and the teachers.

Since this is their first year in school, it would be an amazing way to "cap off" a great year.

Wearing a cap and gown at their Pre-K graduation helps our students envision what it would be like to graduate from higher levels of learning. They have overcome many challenges and have worked so hard this year. They deserve a proper graduation to celebrate all of their accomplishments.
