Please help me provide the listed STEM materials for my students. I am their art teacher, and I am hoping to offer them a wide array of opportunities so that they can find the type of art that they like to create the most. A lot of them think that if you cannot draw something with proportion, then you cannot make art. I am hoping that, by offering them many different outlets, I will change their minds and help them realize that they are artists too. My students are also required to submit one of their pieces from the school year into the art sale. I will facilitate many discussions about art prices and how to put a price on your own pieces. We will talk about gallery fees, highlighting common business practices.
My goal is to help learners at our STEM school have a better understanding of the business side of art.
We will also connect engineering and technology through their art.
My learners are special because they are creative and insightful. Just last week, I shared my own art with them and they were so kind with their feedback. They truly seemed to appreciate that I was sharing with them and couldn't believe some of the stuff that I have made. I know that with your support and these materials, my students will make things that amaze themselves as well.
