My Project

We are thrilled to be off to an amazing start to our school year! Every day students ask me when we are using clay again. I'm as excited as they are!

Your generous donations will enable each and every student in our school to create projects that are food/ drink/ dishwasher safe with clay and glaze.

We are the only elementary school in the New York City Public School system that has a ceramics program and a kiln! We don't believe that using clay is only for older students. We begin our projects with even the youngest of the students and what they make is fabulous! Our students are enamored with each and every step of the process. Returning their finished pieces to them once they are out of the kiln is one of my favorite things in the world. Their faces show a joy and wonder and pride that cannot be described. We are so grateful to DonorsChoose for their continuing support of our program.
