Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are "koala-ty" learners that attend a Title I-funded school in Hawthorne, CA. My students have unique strengths, but one thing they have in common is a strong love of learning. Although they may not have a lot of resources to keep up with the ever changing world, they are always up for the challenge of learning something new.

In this class, we build a community of lifelong learners.

My students are constantly working hard and eager to learn. Coming back from this crazy year, I want to make sure that my eager students have access to a variety of resources.

I strive to make our classroom, in person and from a distance, the best environment possible where my students can express themselves creatively and be exposed to all sorts of learning experiences.

My Project

The beginning of the school year is full of different emotions, and we are always in need of supplies. These basic supplies will help my students be prepared during this school year, as well as motivate them in our lessons.

With the help of headphones, fidgets, lead pencils, and masks, my students will be engaged in our classroom, and stay safe while learning!

The amount of items being purchased will allow my students' needs to be met, all while maintaining the safe distance required at the moment. The headphones will help my students listen to books on their Chromebooks, and delve into the world of imagination while in our classroom. Thank you for helping my kids have a successful school year!
