My Project

Who doesn't love a fresh, new book! Open the cover and fan the pages under your nose. You just can't beat that smell. Now imagine that you got that book using a gold coin you deposited in the BOOK VENDING MACHINE at your school in recognition of your hard work, helpfulness, display of good manners, or achievement of goals.

My school has a brand new book vending machine and we give away about a dozen books to students each week!

Students earn tickets for weekly drawings to win gold coins to use in the book machine. The machine is spectacular! The students stand in wonder, pouring over the titles available on Fridays. For many of our students, this is the only book they have at home.

This project will provide funding for 40 books, or about a month's worth of books. With your help and generosity we will be able to continue to stock the machine and give our students the joy of their very own, brand new book.
