My Students

My students are so energetic and fun. They love to move around the room and socialize with each other. After spending so much time at home during the pandemic, they are "re-learning" how to be social again in a classroom setting.

They enjoy their time with each other and the freedom of sharing ideas working together in person.

They will often gather in different parts of the room to work and would prefer to not sit at a traditional desk and chair. They have a lot of great ideas and discussions, which I believe will be needed for their future leadership and success.

My Project

Students need opportunities to move around while learning in the classroom. After two years of the pandemic where many students were learning from home on a laptop, returning to the classroom has been a major adjustment for many. Going from working at the kitchen table, couch, or bedroom to a traditional desk and chair has been a challenge for many.

Students are having to learn to be social again and to work together in person.

These wobble chairs help the students move while at their desks and are easy to move to a group setting. They help the students sit up and provide balance, as well as a fun way to learn.

The light covers help create a calm learning environment that promotes discussions and learning. The paintbrush sets are for the days that we will paint and listen to music while hopefully sitting in our wobbly chairs.
