My Students

My students are from many different cultures, races, backgrounds and beliefs. They want to be able to complete work that will show off their abilities and talents. I teach in a Title 1 school with more than 75% of the students coming from low income families. We have limited resources. I have 25 students (yes, we are at capacity) and I have to be able to teach them virtually. My class is 100% virtual. They are all on their computers and laptops at home while I am teaching from school.

My Project

Having a document camera to support my remote students would really help to achieve engaging lessons. Currently my document camera is in my classroom. I need a portable document camera that can be used from my home when I am remote.

I will use the document camera to project my read alouds, demonstrations and information on to the computer for my students to view at home.

The document camera will allow me to make the lessons more engaging so the students can follow the topics and strategies being taught live. A document camera will be plugged right into the computer which will be projected right onto my students laptops and tablets.
