Help me give my students a reliable computer to access instruction during distance learning and in the classroom. This MacBook will allow me to prepare lessons and better connect with my students and their families during live instruction.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have 24 preschool students who attend a low-income school in South Los Angeles. My students come to class ready to learn, regardless of any obstacles they face inside and outside of the classroom.
My preschool students inspire me everyday and I am invigorated with the promise and excitement they show day in and day out.
These preschoolers are inspirational and are always eager to absorb knowledge. My 24 four year old students are willing to accept and achieve any goals set in front of them.
My Project
The new laptop will assist me in actively engaging my 24 preschool students as we continue to navigate through distance learning. Having a reliable laptop will allow me to run programs and conduct live instruction via Zoom more efficiently and effectively so there is not too much wait time for my preschoolers. At this point during distance learning, every second counts! Once we are able to safely return to the classroom, my students will be able to access the laptop to engage in interactive math and literacy games.
Please help give my 24 preschool students and I a new perspective on distance learning!
