Technology has become apart of our everyday teaching the last few years, during that time our classroom headphones have been used a lot. All that use has left us with missing headphones, broken headphones, headphone that only work in one ear, etc.
My students love to listen to audio books throughout the day.
Audio books have many benefits to them. It helps students to hear how fluent readers read so they can mimic the same fluent reading. This is also essential to approaching readers to access grade level text that we are reading in class.
