Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year I am teaching technology! While I'm teaching an array of grades, most of the classes are from Pre3-5th Grade. The majority of the school students are Hispanic/Latino, and many of them speak Spanish when they are at home.

This year, we are back in school full-fledged and need to stay safe through this epidemic.

Our students are economically disadvantaged and therefore are receiving both breakfast and lunch in school.

My Project

This project is to help us hear one another with our masks on in our classroom! This year we are trying to stay safe by wearing our masks all day long. While the masks are keeping us safe, it is very hard to hear one another through them which is a basic necessity that needs to be met in any successful learning environment.

Getting wireless speakers set up around the class will allow us to use a headset and have our voices reach everyone throughout the room.

Being able to hear each other is needed now more than ever as we need to catch up from any learning loss we've endured throughout the past 2 years.
