it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students really get excited about reading. We are a small community school located in the big city of Miami, which has lots of distractions. My students get excited with the smallest of incentives and even when the library is decorated. I want to continue to attract their attention to our Media Center. I want to be able to provide them a great comfy area to read.
As the Media Specialist, I want to encourage students to feel comfortable and highlight the fantastic resources our Media Center has to offer.
Most of our students love to read and come to the library at least twice a week. I need these students to continue to come the library as they get older and feel that its not just a place the primary grades.
My Project
Please help us fulfill this order! We need some basic equipment to continue to have successful announcements in the morning. The entire school gets the Media Center news and School news from our WROK news team which airs via CCTV. News such as new books to read or when there is a teacher planning day. We deliver all the news. The microphones will enable the students to be heard, we need to be clear and loud! We need the tripod to record student of the month and not have too much movement while recording. We also are in need of a Bluetooth speaker to play some really cool tunes for our students to dance and celebrate our accomplishments.
